Nitz Furniture & Piano Center tops OKB 2012 sales—a hall of famer for Most Innovative Product Award

DTI Bicol – A three -piece eco-furniture dining set made of scrap plyboard wins the nod of judges as the Most Innovative Product Award during the Market Week Philippines last Sept. 19-23 at SM Megamall. This made Nitz Furniture & Piano Center a hall of famer for the said award in an annual national trade fair. The company was also awarded as the Best Dressed Booth during the same event.

A DTI-Camarines Sur assisted enterprise, Nitz Furniture and Piano Center started in 1995 after Engr. & Mrs. Nestor Flores inherited the business from their respective parents who, at that time, were competitors. The company is a home-grown entrepreneur that is famous for its cosmopolitan, space-saving, and multi-functional furniture pieces fit for modern homes.

Fresh from its victory during the Market Week, Nits Furniture & Piano Center also topped the sales for this year’s OKB-Gayon Bicol Regional Trade Fair.

It has been DTI’s client for more than a decade now and a recipient of the agency’s entrepreneurial and skills training like marketing and product development. It has also been granted loan by Small Business corporation (SB Corp.), DTI’s financing arm for micro, small, and medium enterprises. (MSMEs).
